Obadiah

Volunteer Housing Information BSF has limited on-campus housing (Obadiah) for volunteers at a nominal fee. This accomodation is very affordable because guests are expected to clean their own rooms. Housing is subject to availability and requires advance reservations through the volunteer coordinator.

NIGHTLY RENTAL RATE
One room (2 twin beds): Double occupancy, $10 each per night; single occupancy, $15
Reservations are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. A centrally located, fully furnished kitchen is available for the use of all guests. A washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board are also available in the laundry room for your personal use. Bed linens and towels are provided. Each room has a coffeepot and coffee.

RESPONSIBILITY

• The privilege of staying in Obadiah comes with the expectation that you will volunteer in the press each weekday of your stay from 9:00 a.m. – approximately 4:00 p.m.

• During training sessions, volunteers will serve meals as scheduled in advance by the volunteer coordinator. We do all we can to accommodate your meal-serving preferences.

• Before departure you are responsible for cleaning your room; instructions and supplies are provided.

REGULATIONS
In an effort to maintain a clean and quiet adult community, pets and smoking are not permitted in the units. The minimum age for occupancy is 16 years when accompanied by an adult.

TRANSPORTATION
Bible Study Fellowship is located about 20 miles from downtown San Antonio, 10 miles from the airport, and 3-4 miles from the nearest grocery store. For those who are not planning to drive, you are responsible for your own transportation. For convenience, you may prefer to rent a vehicle from a local car rental agency.
