1 Corinthians 3-4
Paul implores the Corinthians of his day and Christians today to move beyond the worldly ways of jealousy and quarreling and be transformed with hearts and attitudes that sacrificially serve Christ through submission to and the power of the Holy Spirit.
"The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building." -- 1 Corinthians 3:8-9
Schedule B kicking off
Several classes in the Southern Hemisphere are taking part in area and leaders workshops, preparing for their start of the study of Acts of the Apostles. Here, men's teaching leaders, substitute teaching leaders, class administrators and children's supervisors gathered in Sydney, Australia, in preparation to serve their classes, which kick off in the upcoming weeks. Please pray that they will be thoroughly blessed in their daily study of God's Word as they lead the men and children whom God has placed in their classes, and for the women and children who have been placed in the women's classes.
1 Corinthians 1-2
As Paul addresses the Corinthian Christians, he grieves over divisions within the church and points his brothers and sisters to true wisdom, which comes only from God and is revealed through His Holy Spirit, who dwells within believers.
How are divisions among Christians connected with pride of human wisdom? How are divisions affecting your life, and how are you contributing to them?
"However, as it is written: 'No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him' -- but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God." -- 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
